‘The White Lotus‘ is back to treat us with its hospitality of luxury, drama, and darkness. Released in 2021, the limited series had six episodes in the first season. It immediately became a televised success and was well received by ten Emmy Awards.
The HBO series will return with its second season on 30 October, 2022 and this time, we will vacation in Scilly. So, what can you expect this time around from the show?

‘The White Lotus’: Season One Recap
The first episode of season one pilots with a glimpse of the shocking end of a dead body being loaded onto a plane. The wealthy resort in Hawaii has the Mossbacher family as their guests. The newlyweds Shane and Rachel are there for a romantic honeymoon. However, they have a surprise visit from Shane’s overbearing mother, Molly. Lastly, we have Tanya, who has recently lost her mother and aims to find peace from this vacation.
As we move ahead, each episode unravels new scandals and secrets which are placed in the common buffet along with a delicious spread. Mark tells his aloof wife he is struggling with cancer. Their daughter Olivia is partying hard and supplying substances to the apparently “clean” manager of White Lotus. Rachel is doubting her marital choices as Shane has a continual spat with the hotel manager.
By the sixth episode, the guests and staff have undergone a dramatic spiral. Meanwhile, the sourness of Shane and Armond has reached excessive heights. Shane gets Armond fired. Under influence, Armond enters Shane’s room to leave his essence in Shane’s luggage. Thinking it is an intruder Shane stabs Armond and he dies. Hence the airport scene in the beginning. Rachel tells Shane that she regrets marrying him though she decides not to separate.

What To Expect From Season Two?
As informed by the trailer, this season of ‘The White Lotus‘ will be set in the paved streets of Scilly. We will see Jennifer Coolidge come back. She plays Tanya McQuoid – a White Lotus loyalist. F. Murry Abraham, Adam DiMarco and Michael Imperioli are the new members of the cast for the season. We will see them as the Grasso boys and the old Grassos still like to run wild. The guests of White Lotus also include two troubled couples who have recently become rich. And of course, the police will have a cameo.
Will the new season be as scandalous as the last one? The new season will air on HBO on 30 October 2022 with a new episode released weekly.
