‘Chainsaw Man’: Who Are Four Horsemen? How Powerful Are They?

While we previously believed Makima to be the series’ main threat, the further development of the ‘Chainsaw Man’ plot has shown that Denji will face much more formidable adversaries in the next characters. We’ll give you a brief introduction to ‘Chainsaw Man’s Four Horsemen in this essay.

In Christian legend, the Four Horsemen are a quartet of ferocious Devils who stand in for the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. There are numerous indications that Makima was associated with the Four Horsemen and there when they engaged the Weaponized Devils in their conflict with Pochita. The other Horsemen are the Death and Hunger Devils, as well as the recently revealed War Devil and the as-yet-unknown War Devil.

Who Are The Four Horsemen?

The Four Horsemen are a group of strong Devils that are shrouded in secrecy. The members of Four Horsemen are: –

1. The Control Devil (Makima)

Control Devil Makima

Makima because she is It has been demonstrated that the Control Devil, one of the Four Horsemen, can manipulate any entity, she perceives to be beneath her, even coercing them into signing contracts with her or another Devil, thus leading to the victim’s memory loss. Additionally, she has the ability to call her victims through a chain attached to her body, channeling their energy in this way even after they have passed away.

Makima has demonstrated that she can utilize an unseen force to crush her target, but she also demands a higher location, the target’s name, and a human sacrifice. When Makima points her finger at a target, she does harm to that target. Makima has been demonstrated to kill her targets if she looks at them, seemingly being crushed from within.

She can use a sword at close to medium range to cut off the heads of adjacent targets. Though it’s unclear if Makima acquired them, these skills are comparable to those of the Darkness Devil and the Gun Devil. Makima has demonstrated the ability to command a huge number of rats, enabling him to travel using them. The rats can then congregate to form the shape of a person, enabling Makima to be quickly transported to the desired place.

2. War Devil (Asa Mitaka)

War Devil Asa Mitaka

One of the Four Horsemen is War Devil. Asa Mitaka signed an agreement with the War Devil under which they agreed to jointly control Mitaka’s body. Asa’s brain was only partially intact when the War Devil made this possible, although this has no particular negative effects on the girl. It appears that the War Devil is the only one who can seek the handover of control over the body.

Although War Devil can read the mind of Mitaka, it doesn’t appear that she can do the same for the Devil. When one of them takes control of the body, the other one stays outside of it, feeling only what the dominant side is feeling and being unable to physically engage with the surroundings. The girl acquires facial scars and the War Devil’s distinctive eyes as the War Devil takes Mitaka’s place.

Mitaki displays characteristics of a fiend in this state—she has no control over her body and a malformed head. The resulting appearance traits vanish after they change back. It’s unclear whether they exist outside of Mitaka’s head as well. It took Mitaka some time to realize that she could watch what was happening as a “ghost” while the Devil was in control of her body. The War Devil has no trouble turning those she has “possessed” into a variety of weapons. It appears that a person must have some level of sexual or romantic attraction to a War Devil in order to join her.

3. Death Devil (Unknown)

The Death Devil is one of the Four Horsemen, but we presently know nothing more about him than that. Hopefully, the details regarding Death Devil will be revealed later in the series.

4. Hunger Devil (Unknown)

We currently know nothing at all about the Hunger Devil, other than the fact that he is purported to be one of the Four Horsemen. Hopefully, the details of the Hunger Devil will be revealed later in the series.
