‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ is one of the most popular shonen anime currently. People love seeing the plot twists in the series mixed with the amazingly written characters. Whilst all the characters in the series are unique and loved in their own way, Gojo Satoru is in a league of his own. Hardcore fans of his consider him somewhat unbeatable and invincible.
However other fans of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ find that a little hard to believe. They consider him extremely strong, but they don’t find him unbeatable. However other fans wish to know whether Gojo Satoru is truly unbeatable.
Who Is Gojo Satoru?
Gojo Satoru is currently the strongest character in ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’. He is also the teacher of Megumi, Itadori, and Nobara and teaches at the Jujutsu Tokyo High. This is the same school he graduated from more than 10 years ago. What makes Gojo Satoru so strong is his infinity and the six eyes technique.
Whilst infinity is a cursed technique, the six eyes are more of a gift that is inherited. He is the first sorcerer in over a hundred years to be born with both techniques. Right from the moment he was born, Gojo had been exceptionally strong and didn’t have to try to become powerful. However, his true potential was revealed after he was killed by Toji. That is when he learned to use the reverse cursed technique in order to heal himself.
The Gojo Satoru in the current timeline is quite possibly at the peak of his potential and is the strongest he can be. However, that may also be untrue as Gojo never fought an opponent before Sukuna that could challenge him to that extent.
Is Gojo Unbeatable?
In a sad piece of news for all the hardcore Gojo Satoru fans, Gojo is most definitely not unbeatable. He is most definitely the strongest sorcerer in the series, but he is not invincible. Megumi Fushiguro and Okkotsu Yuuta are the two people most likely to defeat Gojo in addition to Ryomen Sukuna at full power.
Gojo himself has stated that Fushiguro Megumi will surpass him and may be able to defeat him. Megumi’s ten shadows technique is very strong and he can use it quite efficiently. Okkotsu Yuta on the other hand is a prodigy through and through.
He has an amazingly high reserve of cursed energy, even more so than Gojo Satoru himself. In addition to that, he has a spirit called Rika, nicknamed the queen of curses. Rika is immensely powerful and tends to protect Yuta even when he is not controlling her. Even Geto Suguru was unable to control Rika and he mentioned that once Yuta learns how to control her properly, he will be a very big threat. These are the reasons why Gojo Satoru is not totally unbeatable.
