Jiraiya from ‘Naruto’ is one of the most loved characters in the entire show. Fans were truly heartbroken after his death and wanted him to return to the series. Their wish got somewhat fulfilled when they found Koji Kashin in ‘Boruto’. Koji looks and behaves so much like Jiraiya that fans were convinced that it was him.

What Is Koji Kashin’s Relation To Jiraiya ?
Koji and Jiraiya existed at different times and have never met each other. Despite this, the two are extremely similar. As mentioned above, before the truth was revealed, fans thought that Koji was Jiraiya himself and was in disguise. But that turned out to be false and it was revealed that whilst Koji is not Jiraiya himself, he does have a strong connection with him.
Kashin Koji is a clone of Jiraiya. Amado, the genius scientist of the organization of Kara, took Jiraiya’s DNA and created his clone. He is similar to Orochimaru in terms of his interest in science. As he is created from Jiraiya’s DNA, it is not surprising that Koji shares similarities with him that goes beyond physical appearance. Koji looks a lot like Jiraiya and his personality is similar to his. Koji is very shrewd and plans and tries to stay ahead of his opponent similar to Jiraiya. In addition to that, Koji can use Jutsu similar to Jiraiya. This raises the question of who would win in a fight between the two.
Who Would Win In A Fight?
Jiraiya is extremely powerful and was one of the strongest ninjas in the series. However, even the legendary sannin cannot win against Koji. Koji and Jiraiya share some similarities and their Jutsu is one of them. Jiraiya was very adept with Fire Jutsu and used it frequently, Koji can do the same.
In addition to that, Koji can use every Jutsu Jiraiya can. Jiraiya can manipulate his hair with Jutsu to act as a weapon and that is another thing that Koji learned. Koji’s Rasengan is more powerful and bigger than Jiraiya’s which gives him an advantage. However, the biggest and the most tangible advantage that Koji has over Jiraiya is the sage mode. It was mentioned in the anime that people who master the sage mode have sage markings on their faces, but they don’t have the features of a toad. Jiraiya had that but Koji has successfully mastered the sage mode and has no such features. This is why Koji is more powerful than Jiraiya and would ultimately win in a fight. Thus, as it turns out, the clone is more powerful than the original.
