If there is one anime, which can never be replaced from an Otaku’s list of top 3 anime of all time is ‘Naruto‘. The fan-favorite anime is a household name in Japan and all over the world. It is safe to say that if one has locked in their love for anime and manga, it is all because of the emotional strings that ‘Naruto‘ has successfully managed to pull out.
On 9th March 2023, good news waited in line for the Narutards, as the official Twitter handle of Anime News and Facts announced that four new episodes would be added to the original series of ‘Naruto‘. This creative decision was made to celebrate twenty years of ‘Naruto‘, which first premiered in Japan on October 2002.

The Road Of ‘Naruto’
While the Konoha ninja struggled valiantly to bring Kyubei to its knees, he let forth a powerful roar that shook the entire hidden leaf village. Up until one individual steps forward and gives his life to seal the Kyubei away, all the battling is for nothing. The Fourth Hokage was the person who came forth and gave his life for a great cause.
Years later, a young orphan named Naruto causes a lot of destruction and trouble to acquire the attention he craves each day for being ostracized by the entire village ever since he developed his senses. His ultimate purpose in life is to succeed as the Hokage and gain respect from others.
The manga and its anime adaptation have been instant successes since their release. The world that Kishimoto took us to was mystical, emotional, thrilling, and wholesome. Naruto’s journey has made us laugh, sob, and rage, but most importantly it made us grow!
It made us grow as an individual, made us realize the importance of love, relationships, most importantly manifesting our dreams. Hence, when the creators announced an addition to the original ‘Naruto‘ series, it sent a wave of happiness in the Fandom. So how the makers are planning to surprise us?

The 4-Episode Premiere Is Set To Celebrate Naruto’s 20th Anniversary
A 10 minutes video that summed up the 20 years of legacy was released on October 2022, thanks to Studio Pierrot. It was later announced that on the auspicious occasion 20th anniversary of ‘Naruto‘, a cutting-edge Virtual Reality attraction at Divercity Tokyo Plaza will be premiered.
In addition to this, a live event showcasing a unique partnership between the anime series and artists has been revealed and is sure to feast on anime lovers. The answer to what this 4 episode short series will offer fans, remains concealed.
Fans are eagerly waiting for any further updates that can hint at what the makers are planning for us. However, one thing we can be assured of, the day it is released worldwide, it’s surely going to break the internet.
