‘Demon Slayer’ has recently released its latest season and it has created great hype in the anime world. Fans are very curious and highly eager to see the final battle of the anime and its subsequent end. One thing that fans are the most curious about however is the date of Kibutsuji Muzan.
So far, Muzan is indestructible and feared not only among the Hashira and demon slayer corps but his demons as well, including the upper moons. This makes fans curious as to what Hashira Muzan fear and why.
Who Is Kibutsuji Muzan?
Kibutsuji Muzan is the main antagonist of ‘Demon Slayer’. Muzan is highly feared in the ‘Demon Slayer’ world and for good reason. He was the first demon to be created. As a human, Muzan was chronically ill and many experiments were done on him to cure him. However, these experiments backfired and he got turned into a demon.
Appearance-wise, Muzan doesn’t have a set one. He can change bodies and he constantly changes his appearance to stay safe. The appearance that is shown most in the series is of a young man with curly black hair. Personality-wise, Muzan is highly cautious and demands respect from his demons. No demon can speak Muzan’s name. Any demon who does so is killed due to Muzan’s curse. This is a testament to both of his personality traits.
Muzan is also very cruel and cold-hearted. He doesn’t tolerate incompetence and kills any demon who is incompetent. He killed all of his lower moons, save for one because he thought it to be dispensable and useless. Muzan is currently creating more demons and is searching for a flower called the blue spider lily which will help him walk in the sun and truly become immortal.
Which Hashira Does Muzan Fear The Most?
The Hashira in ‘Demon Slayer’ are the pillars of the demon slayer corps. They are the strongest swordsmen and use different breathing styles. Whilst these Hashira are most definitely the strongest swordsmen, Muzan doesn’t fear any of them. The only person that Muzan fears is Kamado Tanjiro.
The reason for Muzan’s fear isn’t Tanjiro’s capability as a swordsman, but his Hanafuda earrings. Tanjiro has the same Hanafuda earring as Yoriichi Tsugikuni. When Muzan ran into Tanjiro in Asakusa, he saw the earrings and became scared. Another reason behind Muzan’s fear is that, unlike most demon slayers, Tanjiro was born with the demon slayer mark. This is another similarity that he shares with Yoriichi.
However, the main reason behind his fear is the fact that Tanjiro can use the sun breathing technique. Every breathing technique emerged from the sun breathing technique and by using the sun breathing technique, Yoriichi nearly killed Muzan. Therefore, whilst Muzan is most definitely not scared of any of the Hashira, he is scared of Kamado Tanjiro.
