Who Is Sanji In ‘One Piece’?
Sanji was originally born as Vinsmoke Sanji, the third son of the former king of Germa. Sanji disowned his family and never got along with them. He ran away from his hometown when he was just a child and was taken under the care of Zeff. Sanji is the fourth member to join the straw hats pirate crew and was convinced to join by Luffy himself. He was under the care of Zeff where he met Luffy who convinced him to join and he has been a part of the straw hat crew ever since.
Sanji is officially the cook for the crew. Vinsmoke Sanji dreams of becoming a chef and wishes to find All Blue. This place is where North Blue, East Blue, South Blue, and West Blue meet. This place is considered a chef’s paradise. Fans assume that because he is the cook for the crew, he is weak. In reality, it is the opposite, Sanji is one of the most powerful members of the straw hats pirate crew along with Luffy and Zoro. Their trio is called the monster trip due to their power.
Why Do Sanji’s Eyebrows Change?
Fans noticed that Sanji’s eyebrows changed during the series and the show never explained it. Many fans assumed that it is because Sanji chose to cover his other eye. Vinsmoke Sanji doesn’t look like any of his siblings and that is because all the Vinsmoke siblings are some kind of superhumans, but Sanji was born as a regular human. Fans believe that his eyebrows point in different directions and because Sanji changed his covered eye, his eyebrows look different.
Oda, the creator of ‘One Piece’ however has a different answer to the question. Oda states that Sanji’s eyebrows changed after he awakened and became a soldier. The change in the eyebrows signifies that Sanji’s body has changed along with his powers and it also signifies the changes happening in his life. This is the reason why his eyebrows changed in the series.
