    BAFTA Awards 2024: ‘Oppenheimer’, ‘Poor Things’ And ‘Barbie’ Dominate Nominations List

    The awards season is taking Hollywood by storm. After the Grammy, Golden Globes, Critics Choice Awards and the Emmys, the 77th annual British Academy Film Awards is set to honor the best films of 2023. BAFTA nominations were announced on Thursday.

    The box office witnessed its biggest phenomenon with Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer‘ and Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie‘, which secured 13 and 5 nominations, respectively at the BAFTAs. ‘Poor Things‘ emerged as a rising competitor with 11 nods. Here’s the complete list.

    The BAFTA Film Awards is set to take place on Sunday, February 18 at the Southbank Centre in London, England. The much-awaited event will be hosted by hosted by David Tennant. Viewers can stream the award show on BritBox International while BBC One and iPlayer will broadcast it in the U.K.
