Tributes for Liam Payne continue to pour in from across the globe. One of the first musicians to pay respects was American singer Charlie Puth, who took to Instagram to express his disbelief. “I’m in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with. I cannot believe he is gone,” he wrote in his Instagram story.
Puth also posted some old photos and videos with the former One Direction members on his Instagram story, one of which he later posted on his feed too.
Reality TV star Paris Hilton also offered her condolences on X (formerly Twitter). “So upsetting to hear the news of @LiamPayne passing. Sending my love and condolence to his family & loved ones. RIP my friend,” she wrote.

Rapper Flavor Flav and musician Zedd were also among those who mourned the 31-year-old, with Flav saying, “RIP to Liam Payne. much too young,” and Zedd describing the news as “Absolutely heartbreaking.”
None of his family members or former One Direction members have reacted to the news yet.
Liam Payne Jumped From His Hotel Room Balcony Under Drug Influence
Within hours of the tragic news, dozens of distraught One Direction fans had gathered outside Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, where Payne had been staying. Scenes of tragedy framed a stunned and crying crowd of fans comforting each other by embracing and weeping in tribute to the star.
In a statement to The Associated Press, communications director for the Buenos Aires Security Ministry Pablo Policicchio confirmed that Payne “jumped from the balcony” of his hotel room under the influence of drugs. Authorities were alerted just after 5 p.m. local time by a distress call warning of “an aggressive man who could be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”

The hotel manager, in a tense 911 call, reported a guest “overwhelmed with drugs and alcohol,” causing chaos in his room.
