Taylor Swift Stunned Everyone With Her NME 2020 Appearance
In February 2020, the Swifties were pleasantly surprised when Taylor Swift came to receive her accolade at the NME Awards in 2020. At the event, Swift turned up in a two-toned blazer by Monse and accessorized it with a white bag and white boots.
They awarded her as the best solo artist. While holding a glass of sparkling white wine and her award, she quipped, “This is my first time at the NME Awards and I just feel like everyone here is so shy, so reserved. It’s like, ‘Are you guys going to have any fun tonight? Are you going to come out of your shells, at all?’ Oh, wait — no, this is like the craziest awards show I have ever been to, and I love it so much.”
Taylor Swift Arrived At The MTV VMAs In 2022
The ‘1989’ artist and the MTV Video Music Awards have some disturbing history. At the 2009 VMAs, Kanye West stole Swift’s thunder to announce that Beyoncé has the best videos of all time. But, she wowed the fans strutting the red carpet with a bejeweled Oscar de la Renta ensemble. At the ceremony, she was nominated for five categories including the Best Longform video for Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien starrer ‘All Too Well: A Short Film’. MTV EMAs 2022
After 10 years, Taylor Swift finally made it to the MTV European Music Awards. At the ceremony, she won four awards: Best Artist, Best Pop, Best Longform Video, and Best Video. She wore a black dress with an extended bedazzling, glamorous David Koma ensemble in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Since she has started recording her old albums, the country-turned-pop singer has also revamped her PR game! Unlike other artists, Taylor does not give any prior hints or information before making a smashing appearance at the award shows. Nothing changed during the AMAs 2022 when Taylor arrived looking like a shimmering disco ball in the plunging The Blonds’ jumpsuit.
At the event, she won the award for Favorite Pop Album, Favorite Female Pop Artist, and Favorite Music Video. The ‘Vigilante Sh*t’ artist thanked her “brilliant friend” Blake Lively for directing the music video for ‘I Bet You Think About Me’, and also apologized for the Ticketmaster debacle.
