The passing of Angus Cloud had come as a shock to the world after he was found dead in his family home in California. The ‘Euphoria‘ fame was just 25 years old. Fans and celebrities including his ‘Euphoria’ co-stars have turned to social media to share condolences.
On July 31, it was Cloud’s mother who had informed 911 on finding her son unresponsive with no pulse. The star was declared at the scene itself. ‘Euphoria’ Cast Share Grief Over Angus Cloud’s Passing
On August 1, 2023, many celebrities’ shared their grief through Instagram. “Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus. I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it)…I’ll cherish every moment,” the ‘Euphoria’ lead Zendaya penned a heartfelt message.
Sydney Sweeney described Cloud as “an open soul, with the kindest heart” and shared a collection of photos of the actor. “There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented, and way too young to leave us so soon,” the creator of Euphoria, Sam Levinson shared. He also pointed to how the actor suffered from addiction and depression, like many of people. Storm Reid, one of the first to share her condolences remarked how “the tears just won’t stop” with a video of Cloud singing on her Instagram story.

Angus Cloud’s name and the term “only 25” was trending on X or Twitter. The users were lamenting how young the actor was. Among others, Drake, Kathrine Narducci, Kerry Washington, and Rachel Zegler took to Twitter to share their sorrow. The actor’s role as Fez, the drug dealer in ‘Euphoria‘ had grown to a pivotal point in the show. Even though he suffered a gunshot at the end of season 2, the star had been onboard for the upcoming season. Cloud had been part of three films- ‘Your Lucky Day’, ‘Freaky Tales‘ and an untitled movie for Universal Pictures.
