Armie Hammer Revealed How Johnny Depp Inspired Him
After several allegations against himself, Armie Hammer was cast out of Hollywood. He dropped out of several films and series. However, in his recent appearance on the Piers Morgan Uncensored, he opened up about how Johnny Depp came to his support.
He talked about having multiple conversations with Johnny Depp not related to the situation. But these helped inspire him to carry on. The two Hollywood stars worked together on ‘Lone Ranger’. Hammer revealed that he and Depp have “communicated a few times” on FaceTime, adding, “I didn’t bring [my situation] to him. He didn’t bring him to me. It was more of a social call — ‘How are you, good to see you, glad you’re still alive.’ That kind of thing.”

Armie Hammer Was Grateful For Luca Guadagnino’s Support
‘Call Me by Your Name’ director Luca Guadagnino has been a constant source of support for Armie Hammer, who also starred in the movie. Hammer revealed that he has been “vocally supportive.”
He continued to say that his support, “is something that I could not appreciate more. But at the same time, I’m also well aware that it is a precarious situation right now, and anyone who vocalizes support comes under fire.” Hammer added, “I understand that my situation was inflammatory, and anyone who gets too close might also light on fire.”
