‘Avatar: The Way of Water‘ unveils its first character. The upcoming American epic science-fiction, directed by James Cameron( famous for ‘Titanic’ and ‘The Terminator’) is said to hit theatres this winter.  It is the second film in the ‘Avatar’ franchise.
The team of the upcoming Hollywood film has newly released the first look at Kate Winslet’s character in the film. The star plays the role of a Na’vi warrior.

Kate Winslet Calls Her Character Of Ronal “Loyal” As Her First Look Unveils
The images of Winslet’s character- Ronal have been debuted in a film magazine named Empire. The actor describes Ronal as a “deeply loyal and a fearless leader.”
Winslet will be reuniting with her ‘Titanic’ director with this long-awaited sequel. She is all set to star alongside returning cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver among others.

While speaking to the magazine about her character, the actor said, “She is strong. A warrior. Even in the face of grave danger, and with an unborn baby on board, she still joins her people and fights for what she holds most dear: her family and their home.”
Winslet Opens Up About Reuniting With The ‘Titanic’ Director James Cameron
Disney’s official synopsis for the upcoming ‘Avatar’ sequel reads: “Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ begins to tell the story of the Sully family, the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they endure.”
The 46-year-old for this role learned to hold her breath underwater for the movie. She ended up breaking Tom Cruise’s record for the longest underwater breath-hold in a feature film.
Winslet also opened up about reuniting with Cameron after so many years of ‘Titanic.’ She told the magazine, “Jim and I are both totally different people now to who we were 26 years ago. He is calmer, and I am definitely more hyperactive now!”
‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ will be released by 20th Century Studios on December 16, 2022.
