During the cover interview, the singer admitted that she is attracted to women.
Later, Billie Eilish was asked by an interviewer from Variety about whether she came out during a red carpet event. Eilish said, “No, I didn’t. But I kind of thought, ‘Wasn’t it obvious?’ I didn’t realize people didn’t know.” She continued, “I just don’t really believe in it. I’m just like, ‘Why can’t we just exist?’ I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I just didn’t talk about it. Whoops.”

The Singer Said She Doesn’t Feel Like A Woman
During the Hitmakers event at Variety, Billie Eilish gave a moving speech. In her speech, Eilish said that she does not feel like a woman, and for the longest time, the singer felt that she did not fit into being a woman.
Billie Eilish said, “For a couple years, because of that insecurity, I became almost like very ‘pick me’ about it and I’d be like, ‘Well, I’m not like other girls ‘cause I don’t do this and this.’”
The ‘lonely’ singer added, “I’ve grown to be very resentful of that period of time because I’m so much more interested in being like other girls, because other girls are f**king tight and I love women.”
