Chris Evans, who is better known as Captain America is an American actor who began his career with the television series ‘Opposite Sex’. Born on June 13, 1981, in Boston, Massachusetts, he enjoyed musical theater as a child and even attended an acting camp.

His acting career began in television shows like Opposite Sex in 2000. He earned notoriety for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in the 2005 film ‘Fantastic Four’ and its sequel ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer’ after making cameos in a number of juvenile movies, including 2001’s ‘Not Another Teen Movie’ (2007). Evans continued to feature in comic book and graphic novel adaptations in the movies TMNT’ (2007), ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’ (2010), and ‘Snowpiercer’ (2013).
He became more well-known due to his portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America in multiple movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The drama ‘Gifted’ (2017), the thriller ‘Knives Out’ (2019), and the television serial ‘Defending Jacob’ all featured Evans in addition to his comic book roles. With the love drama ‘Before We Go’, which he also produced and featured in, he made his directing debut in 2014.
