Kim Kardashian once again stole the spotlight at the Met Gala this year with her stunning Margiela by John Galliano dress with a lace train, decorated with leaves and floral accents. The reality TV star complemented her look with icy bleach-blonde hair and subtle makeup, including shimmery silver eyeshadow.
Among the accessories was a simple gray cardigan and a silver corset, seemingly aimed to accentuate her dramatically tiny waist. Though she looked stunning while carrying the ensemble with confidence, the internet has found quite a few loopholes in her outfit.
Many on social media pointed out that Kardashian’s outfit is too restrictive because of the corset that shrunk her waist considerably. “Did she have her ribs removed?” another one questioned in the comments section, while a third one noted, “She’s walking like it hurts”. Another one chimed in expressing that Kim looks visibly uncomfortable. “OhGod literally!!! She cannot breathe,” the user quipped.

Kim Kardashian’s Tiny Cardigan Leaves The Internet Divided
Other than her incredibly tight corset, Kim Kardashian was also criticized for the grey cardigan that she wore with the shimmering dress. Many pondered over it being a last-minute addition due to a wardrobe malfunction, while others appreciated it as a cute addition to the ensemble.
“Kim Kardashian is definitely giving had an outfit malfunction, and threw on a sweater but she still ate,” one fan wrote on X. “Kim’s dress had to have broken somehow bc there’s no way that ugly a– rag of a sweater was part of it,” another user said. “Her little sweater is adorable,” one more user quipped.
It turns out that the cardigan was a very conscious part of Kardashian’s fashion choice. The reality TV star explained that the cardigan was a reference to “the wildest night of my life in a garden.” “I just ran out and grabbed my boyfriend’s sweater,” she told Vogue during an interview earlier, “and threw it on and had to get to work.”
