    ‘Bullet Train’ became one of the biggest summer hits aiding in the revival of the box office. It is an all-action drama set on a bullet train in Japan. The film stars Brad Pitt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Sandra Bullock, Bad Bunny, Joey King, and others. It is one of the most dreamy casts in recent times. The star power in the film was infectious. It grossed $239, 268, 602 worldwide.

    However, the cast could have gotten bigger and better with the addition of Mother Monster! David Leitch, while bringing together the ensemble, wanted to get Lady Gaga on board.

    During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the ‘Deadpool 2’ director said, “It really all came down to her [Lady Gaga’s] schedule with the Ridley [Scott] film. There were short discussions and then, this isn’t going to work because she was preparing for the Ridley movie [House of] Gucci. They shot right before us and overlapped with us and it really didn’t work”.

    Little Monsters were elated when the news of Gaga playing the menacing partner to Arthur Fleck. In the sequel to 2019’s ‘Joker’, Joaquin Phoenix will reprise his role and Lady Gaga was roped in to essay Harley Quinn. In a social media post, the ‘Bad Romance’ singer shared a teaser captioning the title ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ with the release date ‘10.04.2024’. Phillips confirmed that the film will be a musical allegedly inspired by Liza Minnelli’s musicals.

    In a recent post, she also shared a menacing picture of Joaquin and hers in the character looking intensely into each others’ eyes. Before Gaga, Margot Robbie essayed the character in ‘Suicide Squad’ and ‘Birds of Prey’. During an interview, Robbie expressed her excitement over Gaga taking the reins and taking the character forward.

    She said, “It makes me so happy because I said from the very beginning that all I want is for Harley Quinn to be one of those characters the way…like Macbeth or Batman always gets passed from great actor to great actor. Someone gets to do their Batman, or someone gets to do their Macbeth”.
