It’s not a party until Rihanna walks into a room. The ‘Umbrella’ and ‘What’s My Name’ hitmaker and A$AP Rocky arrived spectacularly late to the Met Gala 2023. But when they arrived, it was all people could talk about. Both wore outfits inspired by the work of the late Karl Lagerfeld.

Rihanna, who announced her second pregnancy during the Super Bowl halftime show, looked ravishing. Twitter was full of love and respect for the iconic pop star, who looked stunning in a white gown. But the internet seemed to be upset with A$AP Rocky.

She then arrived at the festivities wearing a white Valentino bridal. It was comprised of carefully sculpted flowers from head to toe.

A$AP Rocky channeled the late designer’s vibe as he sported a fancy black coat with a kilt. Lagerfeld was known for incorporating his love of Scotland into his work. The rapper made changes to the ensemble by adding Gucci belts and diamond-studded jeans. Unlike Rihanna, he had a single look for the event.
