It’s not easy to show your real and raw life to the world when you’re surrounded by glamour and stardom. People expect you to be perfect in all ways, and when you’re David Beckham, the expectations rise — and that’s what the star talked about while opening up about his Netflix documentary ‘Beckham‘.
Beckham opened up about the process of its making being “very difficult” as he was interviewed for 50 hours. But he also praised director Fisher Stevens for making him “uncomfortable” so he could push his limits. Here’s everything he said.

Beckham also revealed that he allowed the cameras inside his house during the pandemic when it struck him that he had retired from football.
David Beckham Convinced Wife Victoria To Have A Documentary Of Her Own
Netflix faced questions over the authenticity of David Beckham’s documentary, given that it was co-produced under his Studio 99 banner. But Beckham meddled, asserting that her was also involved in the editing.
Moreover, Studio 99 has been behind some great Disney+ series including ‘Save Our Squad‘ and Prime Video’s ‘Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything‘, and is now working on a show about Victoria Beckham on Netflix.
Speaking about the same, David Beckham revealed that it was hard to convince Victoria to have her own Netflix documentary. “But she had been such a big part of the process with Netflix and was like, ‘I love these people and the way they work,’” he said, praising Netflix and the director.
