    George R. R. Martin Says HBO Has Canceled Several ‘Game Of Thrones’ Spinoffs

    George R. R. Martin recently said that HBO canceled several spinoffs of their fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones‘ after its terrible finale. However, ‘House of the Dragon‘ received impressive ratings and it has been renewed for a second season.

    According to The Hollywood Reporter, Martin wrote in his blog that a couple of potential spinoffs have been “shelved.” He also said that the delays are due to “all the changes at HBO Max.”

    The author said that he is working on “several of the other [Game of Thrones] successor shows that we’re developing with HBO.” “A couple have been shelved, but I would not agree that they are dead. All the changes at HBO Max have impacted us, certainly”, he wrote.
