The 30-year-old comedian being called comedy’s T. Swift is not that far-fetched of a thought. The female comedian is at the top of her career right now and is breaking records left and right. She just started her weekend game show along with being the star of the most sold-out female comedy show of 2023.

In an exclusive chat with ET, the host of ‘After Midnight’ blushed flamingo pink when Denny Directo gave her the highest level of compliment there is. The outlet representative called Taylor Tomlinson the “Taylor Swift of Comedy.” In addition to her weekend show on CBS, the comedy star is currently headlining one of the highest-grossing female comedy tours of 2023.
Sharing the same first name and the habit of being a successful woman in a male-dominated industry gives a fair justification for the comparison. As humble as they come Tomilson replied, “I don’t know who’s doing that. There’s a couple of comments on Instagram. I’m not doing that. I would never compare myself to Taylor Swift. I am garbage compared to her.”

Taylor Tomlinson On Comedy Life Beyond The Stage
If the Tay-Tay twin name and being the badass female around is not enough, let us tell you that both these female icons have had pretty sick luck in dating. No issues though, for they can always make the lark out of their misery. The comedian told the outlet, “I dated comedians, and I went in knowing that. So this is a, ‘If I were you, I would not date a comedian.’ I mean, I know why comedians date each other because we both know the deal. But a person who’s not in this business, it must be very scary. It’d be like, ‘Oh, we’re just kind of on the record all the time.'”
Another thing the game show host shared during the interview was the name of her dream guest. “I want to get Conan O’Brien on the show. I think Conan would be fun. It’s probably a big ask but I would love if Conan did the show.” said comic Taylor and with the speed of her success, she’ll soon have him pressing the buzzer of her show.
