It was in an interview with People Magazine that Robert Downey Jr praised his co-actor. “We’d be like, ‘Hey, we got a three-day weekend. Maybe we’ll go antiquing in Santa Fe. What are you going to do?’ ‘Oh, I have to learn 30,000 words of Dutch. Have a nice time.’ But that’s the nature of the ask,” the Iron Man actor explained. ‘Oppenheimer’: From The Script To The Screens
The creator of masterpieces, Christopher Nolan has gone yards to bring out this epic biographical thriller film. From the biography that took two decades of research and 500 plus pages, the maker had to reduce it to a duration of 3 hours.
In an interview with Vulture, Nolan shares how designed his actors to get into character. “In the script, the scenes are very, very stripped down. So you have to push your actors to come in with a bigger sense of the world, and walk through the door into the scene knowing what they just said to the security guard outside or whatever coming in,” he said.
