Speculations about the two dating each other were rife though none of the two commented on the matter. However, Cabello is now setting the record straight on her connection with Drake during their time in Turks and Caicos last December.

Camila Cabello Clarifies What She Was Doing On Trip With Drake
Addressing the romance rumors on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast, Camila Cabello clarified that her trip with Drake wasn’t just a vacation but a combination of leisure and work. The ‘Señorita‘ singer said, “I wouldn’t say straight up vacation. It was vacation plus some work,” Cabello explained.
That being said, the singer had a lot of admiration for Drake. “I love that man. I love him. …We all love him, right?” When asked directly about whether she had ever dated the 37-year-old rapper, she responded coyly, “Have I had a beautiful, artistic collaboration with him? I may or may not have.”
To clarify their time together, she added, “This was like a homie, like a friends trip,” making it clear that the purpose of their meeting included sharing her album with Drake. “I really felt like he would like my album. So I DMed him and I was like, ‘I would love to play you my album. I honestly feel like you would really love it.'”

Camila Cabello Was Excited To Spend Time With Drake
According to Cabello, Drake agreed, and they spent time together. “I played him my album. He loved it, and I thought that he would. I was so excited,” she shared, adding that the experience was “surreal“. She also praised him as a chill and kind human being.
While Cabello didn’t confirm any romantic involvement, she raised a toast to Drake and called him “Champagne Papi.” Reports from their time in Turks and Caicos noted that the two looked cozy and enjoyed each other’s company without displaying overt public displays of affection.
Drake has been in his single era in recent years and has therefore been linked to several people since his last public relationship with Rihanna. However, we can conclude from Cabello’s revelation that the singer is not dating anyone at the moment.
