Tom Brady Has An Old On-Field Rivalry With Travis Kelce’s Team
The rivalry Tom Brady has with Travis Kelce’s team goes long back. Throughout his career, Tom Brady has played against the Chiefs several times, including some historic matchups at Arrowhead Stadium.
During one such showdown in the 2018 American Football Conference title game, Kansas City rallied from a 14-0 halftime deficit to force overtime. Yet, Brady was seen handling the pressure with grace as he led the Patriots to a dramatic 37-31 victory, and eventually clinched a Super Bowl LIII victory.
To date, there have been 13 starts where Brady directly faced the Chiefs, and has so far amassed an 8-5 record. With 20 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions against Kansas City, Brady’s prowess on the field even outshined the home-field advantage that the Chiefs had in some of their matches. Brady, thus, has been a powerful player who has often managed to give tough competition to Kelce’s team on the field.
The ‘Roast of Tom Brady‘ is now streaming on Netflix.
