On-screen kisses can turn funny for actors sometimes. And many have shared their experiences of kissing their co-stars multiple times. Recently ‘Good Will Hunting’ actor Matt Damon shared his ‘not so good experience’ of kissing the ‘Avengers’ star Scarlett Johansson on screen.
It was in an interview with LADbible along with his ‘Oppenheimer’ co-star Emily Blunt, that the actor opened up about kissing Scarlett Johansson. Matt Damon Recalls Kissing Scarlett Johansson
It was in the 2011 film ‘We Bought A Zoo’ that the actors Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson had liplock. “I had to kiss Scarlett Johansson. Can you imagine how horrible that was for me? It was hell!” Damon confessed how much he had enjoyed it. With the comment, the actor recollected what had really happened.
Originally, the duo had shot a perfect kiss scene before lunch. But then the director, Cameron Crowe asked the actors for a tight shot of the kissing scene again. Johansson had had an onion sandwich. “Ah s**t! I literally just had an onion sandwich!’” the actress said. However, the actors didn’t give it much thought and kissed for the shot anyway.

Matt Damon Made Fun Of Scarlett For Onion Breath
Matt Damon admitted that he made fun of his co-star Scarlett Johansson the whole time for the onion breath. But in reality, he had not felt any smell. “Her breath smells like roses!” the actor insisted. Though Damon and Johansson have been in the industry for a long time, ‘We Bought A Zoo’ appears to be the only movie they acted together in.
The Oscar-winning actor did the role of Benjamin in the movie. Benjamin was a widower and father of two. To give a fresh start to his life, the lead purchases a property along with a zoo. Scarlett Johansson appeared as the zookeeper Kelly with whom Benjamin slowly falls in love with. The movie is based on Benjamin Mee’s book of the same name.
