    Jenna Ortega gained global prominence with her performance as Wednesday Addams on Netflix’s horror-comedy series ‘Wednesday.’ It turned out to be a massive success and one of the most-watched shows of all time.

    In her appearance on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, the 20-year-old actress said what she did to make the character authentic throughout filming. “Everything that she does, everything that I had to play, did not make sense for her character at all,” she said.

    She further added, “There was times on that set where I even became almost unprofessional, in a sense, where I just started changing lines.” The actress said she became very protective of the character eventually.

    Ortega Talked About The Rigorous Filming Schedule

    Last month, during a Q & A session for the show, Ortega talked about the rigorous filming schedule of ‘Wednesday‘ and how it took a toll on her. “It was show up to set two hours early, do that 12-14 hour day, then go home and then get on a Zoom and have whatever lesson that I had“, she recalled.

    She revealed that she would get her lessons on the day there was no filming taking place. The ‘X’ actress also practiced cello which proved to be really difficult for her.  “I did not get any sleep. I pulled my hair out.

    Wednesday‘ saw over 341 million hours of views in its first week, breaking the record of ‘Stranger Things 4‘ at 335 million. Ortega’s acting met with universal acclaim.
