Jennifer Lawrence is set to add another feather to her cap by starring in and producing ‘The Wives’ inspired by the hit reality TV show ‘Real Housewives‘. Though the specific plot details of the film are still under wraps, the movie’s connection to the ‘Real Housewives‘ franchise has gotten fans excited. Besides, Lawrence’s well-known enthusiasm for the reality TV show has made it even more promising.
She has often expressed her admiration for various ‘Real Housewives‘ series, including those based in New York, Beverly Hills, New Jersey, Atlanta, and Miami. Lawrence’s co-producer for the film, Jeremy O Harris took to social media to reveal the project, asserting that it is the result of nearly seven years of effort.
The screenplay for ‘The Wives‘ will be written by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley, who are known for their acclaimed theater production ‘This American Wife‘. The production and release timeline of the project has not yet been revealed.

‘The Wives‘ would have high hopes riding on it, chiefly because of Jennifer Lawrence’s well-known fondness for the show, which she has publicly talked about during her interviews. She has also often highlighted her favorite moments and characters from the show.
