Halle Bailey, the live-action Ariel makes it to the 2024 list of New Mammas. The actress, known for keeping things private, revealed the biggest secret she’s been keeping with her baby daddy, DDG.
The new mamma made her relationship on Instagram official back in March 2022 in a birthday post for her boyfriend, DDG. Despite struggling with keeping things private, Bailey talked about their boyfriend DDG with stars in her eyes. Halle found her ‘real-life Prince Charming’ and is in that deep love she does not want to swim out of.

Hard-Launching Baby Bailey
Halle Bailey welcomed 2024 with her little merbaby. Our live-action Ariel introduced her baby boy, whose expectancy was kept under wraps. Actress Halle, who is 23, and her boyfriend DDG, who is 26, have been together for a little over a year. The typically private singer shared an Instagram post of the baby’s little hand in hers, adorned with a golden bracelet bearing the name “Halo”.
“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo, the world is desperate to know you,” read the caption.

Halle’s New Muse
With the birth of baby Halo, Halle Bailey and DDG’s long-secret romance has now bloomed into parenting. The ‘Little Mermaid‘ actress, who remained silent about her pregnancy, defended her appearance against pregnancy rumors in November 2023. Clapping back at the critics through Snapchat, she declared, “Listen, if I see one more person say something about my nose one more time, it’s going to be hell to pay.”
“You know why? Because I’m black. I love my nose,” she continued. “What are you concerned about my nose for? Leave me the hell alone.”
Bailey talked about how life has been like a fairytale since the arrival of her new love interest, DDG. When asked if she would call him a real Prince Charming, she said, “Yeah. I would say that,” in an interview with People in May.
The actress hinted at deep, inspirational love in her next solo album, which was inspired by the depth of her relationship that just stepped up a level. She revealed in September 2023 how her brief romance served as creative inspiration for her upcoming music. “This has been a really beautiful transformative time for me. I have all this new material to write about,” she said.
It looks like there is so much to look forward to for Halle Bailey, DDG, and their newest addition, baby Halo.
