Ty Burrell will play Hank, who is known for being the life of the party, But after receiving unfortunate news about his health, he decided to reconnect with his son, hoping to create new memories.

Ty Burrell not only stars in the show but also serves as an executive producer on the show, which is under his production company Desert Whale Productions. Eugene Garcia-Cross will write the comedy series.

The comedy series is inspired by Garcia-Cross’s experience of caring for a parent with Alzheimer’s. The show’s motive is to destigmatize a disease afflicting millions. Garcia-Cross is a co-producer on Disney+’s reboot of ‘The Santa Clause’ and previously worked on ‘Punky Brewster’ for Peacock and Indebted for NBC.
‘Forget and Forgive’ is ABC’s second pilot order of the season, following last week’s ‘Shifting Gears’, a new sitcom starring the face of ABC Tim Allen.
