Mr Beast’s Team Releases An Apology For Usage Of Slurs
The old videos from MrBeast’s account that have resurfaced now shows the YouTuber using racist and homophobic slurs. In one instance, Mr Beast responds to a viewer’s offer to sell a racial slur for $400 by negotiating a lower price. He also directs a homophobic slur at a participant in the video calling him a “faggot”.
These videos have resurfaced and have led to widespread condemnation and calls for greater accountability from the internet personality. In a statement released by his team via Variety, MrBeast acknowledged using “inappropriate language” while attempting to be humorous.
The statement also emphasized the creator’s growth and evolution over the years and his increased awareness of the impact of language. “Over the years [MrBeast] has repeatedly apologized and has learned that increasing influence comes with increased responsibility to be more aware and more sensitive to the power of language,” the statement read.
“After making some bad jokes and other mistakes when he was younger, as an adult he has focused on engaging with the MrBeast community to work together on making a positive impact around the world,” the statement added.
While MrBeast has expressed remorse for his past actions, many viewers are demanding more than just an apology. A lot of people are questioning the authenticity of the apology, questioning why the apology was made by Mr Beast’s team instead of directly by him.

Mr Beast Is Facing Another Controversy Because Of His Co-Host Ava Kris Tyson
In addition to the resurfaced offensive content, the YouTuber is also facing allegations against his longtime co-host, Ava Kris Tyson, who has been accused of “grooming” a minor — a charge she had denied. MrBeast also expressed his shock and disgust at the allegations.
He announced that he had initiated a third-party investigation into the matter. However, despite his response, the controversy has cast a long shadow over the popular creator and his team.
Moreover, beyond the Tyson allegations, MrBeast has also faced criticism for his involvement in a discord server where minors were present. The nature of the conversations within this server was not appropriate.
