Other than her musical prowess, Pink is also famous for her bold fashion and styling choices. While the singer has often successfully donned some great hairstyles and colors, her daughter Willow following her mother’s footsteps came as a surprise for many.
Pink recently opened up about her Willow’s decision to shave her head during a fan interaction at a New Zealand show for her Summer Carnival Tour. The Grammy-winning singer, who shares 12-year-old Willow and 7-year-old son Jameson with husband Carey Hart, shared the backstory behind Willow’s bold choice.

Pink Reveals The Reason Why Willow Shaved Her Head Off
In a fan-recorded TikTok video, Pink can be seen talking about the choice her daughter made of shaving her head off. Pink said that she inadvertently influenced Willow’s decision by complimenting her long hair.
“I told her, I made the mistake of complimenting her beautiful long hair and so she shaved it off,” Pink explained with a laugh. Contrary to what many may have assumed, Pink clarified that it was not her idea but rather her daughter’s independent choice to shave her head bald. “I was living vicariously through my children that have hair,” Pink added.
A mother of two, Pink has seemingly kept a quite playful approach towards parenting. An Instagram post further shed light on it wherein she posted a hilarious video over the weekend. The clip showed the differences between siblings Willow and Jameson, as Willow confidently sang on stage while Jameson was struggling with a water bottle backstage with his head tilted back.
Pink had posted the video with a playful caption to show the sibling dynamics between her children: “First born vs second born“.

Pink And Willow Share A Special Relationship And Often Put It On Display
Willow’s shaved head made headlines in February when she debuted her new look backstage at one of Pink’s concerts in Canberra, Australia.
At the time, the singer also thanked Australian soccer player Lydia Williams for presenting her and Willow with personalized Matildas goalkeeper jerseys in an Instagram post. The post had a picture of the mother daughter duo proudly posing with their jerseys.
This was not the first time that Willow joined her mom on stage. Last year, she accompanied her mother during a concert where they performed the song ‘Cover Me In Sunshine‘ together. Proud dad Carey Hart had expressed his admiration for Willow’s courage in joining her mom on stage at the time.
“So proud of Willz to get up on stage w/ mama @pink !!!!! Must be a surreal moment for mama to have w/ her lil girl on stage,” Hart proudly wrote following the performance in a post.
