James Corden is one of the most popular late night television hosts of our time. The British artist is mostly known for hosting ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ since 2015. He has also written and acted in films and television shows as well as performed as a singer.
However, some people label him as arrogant. A piece of recent news might cement that belief. A restaurant owner in New York city has called the 44-year-old the “most abusive costumer” he has ever had. Let’s find out what exactly happened and why is he reacting that way.
James Corden Was Kicked Out Of A Restaurant
Corden is one of the most popular British talk show hosts in recent times. However, there has been evidence of him being a different person when the cameras are not rolling.
Recently, the owner of a New York City restaurant Balthazar has claimed Corden is the “most abusive” customer he’s ever had since they opened around 25 years ago.
In an Instagram post, Keith McNally wrote: “James Corden is a Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man. And the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago.”
McNally said that he had to “86” (kick out or ban) the tv host from his restaurant before sharing “two examples of the funny man’s treatment” of his staff at Cafe Luxembourg.

What Exactly Happened?
McNally claimed that the ‘Gavin & Stacey’ star demanded free food and threatened him with a bad review after finding a hair in his food in June this year.
“After eating his main course, Corden showed the hair to Balthazar manager G. who was very apologetic,” he stated. “Corden was extremely nasty to G, and said: ‘Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I write any nasty reviews in yelp or anything like that.’”
The restauranteur recalled a recent incident that took place on October 9 where the comedian lashed out at his staff. He said, “Mr. Corden’s wife ordered an egg yolk omelette with gruyere cheese and salad.”
“A few minutes after they received the food, James called their server, M. K. and told her there was a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk. M. K. informed the floor manager, G. The kitchen remade the dish but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad,” he added. He mentioned that Corden “began yelling like crazy to the server”, ‘You can’t do your job! You can’t do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!‘”
