‘Harry Potter’ is one such franchise that managed to take all of us into a world that we could not imagine in reality. Every character became popular at one point but apart from the Hogwarts students, Dumbledore was also famous, portrayed by Richard Harris in the first two installments.
However, a shocking anecdote about Harris has come out online which has left netizens amused. The news is about his Rolls Royce which remained parked at one place for many years and has been found.

Richard Harris Parked His Rolls Royce In A Garage In 1974 And Forgot About It
A book titled ‘Hellraisers’ revealed that in 1999, Richard Harris found an old picture of himself standing with a Rolls Royce but did not remember that he owned the car. During his initial investigation, he failed to find anything but his accountant revealed that he knew everything about the car.
The accountant stated that the car had been parked in a New York-based garage since 1974 and that he received it as a payment for his appearance in ‘The Heroes of Telemark’ in 1965. The parking fee was reportedly around $400 for a month.
Richard Harris used to drink a lot and he would have possibly parked it in that condition. However, he found that he reportedly sold the car because he did not want to drive a luxurious vehicle.

Richard Harris Was Loved As Dumbledore
Although Richard Harris appeared in various films and TV shows, he gained recognition for his performance as Albus Dumbledore in the first two films of the ‘Harry Potter’ film series. The role was taken over by Michael Gambon after Richard’s demise in October 2002.
Richard was featured in various other films like ‘This Sporting Life’, ‘Red Desert’, ‘Cromwell’, ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ and more. He was a recipient of various accolades for his performances over the years and he was 72 years old at the time of his death.
