Downey Jr. started the story with the screening of his 2023 blockbuster hit ‘Oppenheimer’. The actor said he could not attend the premiere because of the possibility it would look like he’s promoting it amidst the actor’s strike that began right before the movie hit the theatres.

So he decided to host a screening of ‘Oppenheimer’ at his Hamptons house. He invited a star-studded audience, “I invited everyone who was in the Hamptons, and for the first time in my whole career, strangely, everyone RSVP’d,” he told Jimmy Kimmel.

The ‘Iron Man‘ star said he had no idea that one of them was Paul McCartney, who was sitting right next to him. The actor described the feeling like, “And then I was just like, smelling his cologne, and I started like, breathing in the same rhythm as him. I didn’t even watch the movie.”
