When a Twitter user named @Stonedziti took to Twitter to admit her confusion between Ryan Gosling and Ryan Reynolds, she probably didn’t expect that the ‘Deadpool’ star himself would respond. But that’s exactly what happened when Reynolds caught wind of the tweet.
“I honestly don’t know the difference between ryan gosling and ryan reynolds,” the fan’s tweet innocently read. “Different hair colors. Ryan Gosling has light BLOND hair. And Ryan Reynolds is a c–t,” Reynolds wrote in his response, surprising many with his choice of words.
While it was just a playful jab, it is likely to have cleared the confusion for a lot of fans. Twitter (now known as X) soon went abuzz with the speculations around Reynold’s tweets, especially because of his choice of words. Many couldn’t help but wonder what Gosling, known for his roles in ‘The Notebook‘ and ‘La La Land’, had to say about Reynolds’s way of clearing the infamous confusion.
However, Gosling never made a comment about it.

Ryan Reynolds’s tweet specifically surprised many as the actor has always maintained a family-friendly image. His cheeky banter therefore came as a huge surprise for many.

On Father’s Day the same year, Blake Lively took to Instagram to wish Reynolds and also praise his fatherhood. “Happy Father’s Day!!!” Lively captioned a photo with a glimpse of their daughter James’s polka-dotted socked feet.
“@vancityreynolds Since the day our baby was born, I’ve felt so strongly in my heart that you were most likely the father. #ILoveYouSoMuchItsSilly,” she wrote.
