Braun spoke candidly about his girlfriend during an appearance on Suzy Weiss’ Second Thought podcast. While discussing his personal life, he made it clear that Sweeney has had a major impact on him. “I’ve met an extraordinary woman, kind and generous and smart, and real and down to earth,” Braun told Weiss in the episode that premiered on May 28.

The former music talent manager admitted that the relationship has been “one of the biggest surprises ever.” His comments offered a rare glimpse into a romance that has steadily grown stronger over the past several months.

Braun also revealed that he has been watching Euphoria, the HBO drama that helped turn Sweeney into one of Hollywood’s biggest stars. When asked whether he tunes into the series, he joked, “I am catching it. I’m biased, I like it. I think there’s been an incredible performance by a certain actress.“

Why Sweeney And Braun’s Relationship Keeps Going Strong

Braun’s praise comes after months of reports suggesting that the couple’s relationship has continued to deepen. In September 2025, a source told PEOPLE that Braun and Sweeney were “casually” hooking up. However, by December, insiders revealed that the pair had become much more serious. According to sources, their relationship had evolved into a committed partnership.

“Scooter and Sydney are going strong, and things between them are great,” the source said at the time. “They’re in a committed relationship, and things are serious.”

In January, an exclusive source told PEOPLE that Braun was not bothered by any criticism or speculation surrounding their romance. “He finds the headlines comical. He seems to be unfazed, as he finds them all very funny,” the insider said, adding: “Sydney and Scooter are totally confident and comfortable in their relationship, and there are no trust issues going on. Things between them are stronger than ever, and they’re in a great place.”

As their relationship continued to flourish, Braun and Sweeney gradually became more comfortable sharing it with fans.
