On Tuesday, Kelly Rowland was attending the premiere of the French film “Marcello Mio” when a female security guard apparently held up her arm to guide Rowland up the famed red steps. Kelly was then seen scolding the guard and holding and pointing at her very angrily.
“The people who are assigned to helping stars walk the red carpet were being aggressive and Kelly was trying to ignore it,” an insider claimed. “By the time [Rowland] got to the last woman she had had it because she scolded Kelly and told her to move when she was trying to wave to fans and help the paparazzi get their shot.” The insider also added that Kelly Rowland “wanted to set a clear boundary” and “She doesn’t care if she comes across like a diva if she knows that she is advocating for herself. She isn’t fake.”

Kelly Rowland Has Been Called A Diva Before As Well
Even before the Cannes incident, Kelly Rowland has faced claims of showing diva-like behavior. The ‘Bootylicious’ singer has been accused of being impolite on the sets of the ‘Today’ show. The incident happened earlier this year when Kelly Rowland walked off the set last minute.
This happened because according to Rowland the dressing rooms “weren’t up to par.” It was Rita Ora who stepped in to save the show last minute. Co-anchor Hoda Kotb shared that she had offered to “share” her changing room with the pop star. Later Rowland’s rep released a statement about her client saying, “She is one of the kindest, most amiable humans I have ever met and have had the blessing to represent.”
