Jon Cryer Talks About The ‘Brat Pack’
During the 80s, Demi Moore quickly got associated with the infamous ‘Brat Pack‘ after starring in ‘St. Elmo’s Fire‘. This is a nickname given to a group of young actors who frequently appeared together in teen-oriented coming-of-age films in the 1980s. Some famous names of the group include Demi Moore, Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, and Judd Nelson.
However, Jon Cryer never felt like he was part of the group himself. “I didn’t perceive myself as part of the ‘Brat Pack’ because I didn’t think I was one of the cool kids. And they were definitely the cool kids,” he says. “I thought the two films that defined the group were ‘The Breakfast Club’ and ‘St. Elmo’s Fire’, neither of which was I in.” Jon Cryer is famously known for his role in ‘Pretty in Pink’ and later as Alan Harper in ‘Two And A Half Men’.
