In 2016, a ditzy, emo girl appeared on the music scene with her brother with a SoundCloud release of their track ‘Ocean Eyes.’ That girl, Billie Eilish, is now one of the most beloved pop stars in the world. A commercially successful and seven-time Grammy-winning artist had a lot to face when she debuted on the scene. Eilish goes through body image issues, which she has addressed many times in the past. Due to this, she has always preferred to wear loose clothes. But when she started embracing her femininity, critics, like vultures, poked criticism at her.
In 2021, Billie Eilish released her second studio album, ‘Happier Than Ever.’ She announced the album via pictures in which Billie looked transformed, wearing her divine femininity on her sleeves. Since then, on various occasions, the ‘lonely’ singer has donned clothes that break the mold that Billie is just a ditzy, annoyed teen. She looked glamorous on the Met Gala carpet in both 2022 and 2023. However, now, after taking vitriol for so long, the artist is clapping back at the critics.
