After the Grammy 2023 debacle, Ashely Leechin, the most hated Taylor Swift doppelganger on the internet, is again utilizing her likeness to the singer for garnering attention. Ashley collaborated with YouTuber Victor Galvan to stage a prank. In the prank, she dressed like Taylor Swift by wearing a white top, jeans, a leather cap, and dark shades.

Ashely Leechin went to different places in Los Angeles including Downtown Disney. She surrounded herself with bodyguards to make it feel real. In the video, Victor can be seen asking Ashley, “Overall, how do you feel about the day so far?” To this, Leechin replied that she feels great, because the prank went better than she expected it to be.

Ashley and Victor then decided to go to Downtown Disney with an outfit change. Leechin changed into a pink cap and black top. She posed with several Swifties, but then she revealed that she is just Ashley, causing a riot of laughter among the Swifties. However, the impersonator received heavy criticism online.

Taylor Swift recently was upset with Swifties for their behavior at her friend and collaborator, Jack Antonoff’s wedding location in New Jersey. She was mobbed by thousand Swifties after she visited a restaurant at Long Beach Island. Due to this situation, Swifties online criticized Ashley Leechin for her irresponsible behavior in Los Angeles.

Ashley Leechin uploaded a TikTok to address the criticism. She referenced Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley’s wedding situation, saying that the timing of the video was “horrific.” She said, “I don’t follow Taylor’s every move, so with everything that happened, I was definitely late finding out a lot of that stuff.”

The impersonator called out the invasive behavior of Swifties, saying, “I feel like the possessiveness can get dangerous.” Referencing her recent video, she compared the real and reel experience, saying, “I had such a positive experience in person and then, of course, online you get a whole different beast.”

Ashley even theorized that there are two kinds of Swifties. She added, “There’s a difference between a Taylor Swift fan—you can love her music, you can love her as a person, you can look up to her—and then there are Swifties. They are completely two different groups.”
