Now, one of the bodyguards has joined the Israel Defense Force (IDF) during the war with Hamas.

Taylor Swift’s Bodyguard Could Not Sit On Sidelines While Israelis Were Being Attacked’
The ‘Eras Tour’ has been doing phenomenally since the tour began. Taylor Swift‘s popularity has increased manifold. Throughout the tour, she has been provided with the best security. Now, one of the Jewish bodyguards during Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ has joined the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) to fight the war against Hamas.
As per The Independent, Taylor Swift’s security guard left for Israel after Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023. An Israeli journalist, Eran Swisa, first saw him with the IDF. Eran told Variety that the unidentified man was born in the Kibbutz before he migrated to America for work.
Eran Swisa interviewed the bodyguard. He shared his statements with Variety. The guard admitted that despite having a comfortable life in the US with a dream job and friends, he could not sit on the sidelines when families were getting killed. He said, “I could not stand on the sidelines while families are being slaughtered and burned alive in their homes!!! Just for being Jewish or for being Israelis.”

The Security Guard Condemns Hamas’ Attack On Israel
The current war between Hamas and Israel has proven deadly for both sides. For Palestine, the war has been the deadliest for the country since the last five wars. The Health Ministry in Gaza claims 2,329 Palestinians have been killed as of October 15, 2023. A recent airstrike on a hospital in Gaza has claimed 500 lives. As for Israel, more than 1,300 people have been killed since the war began in early October 2023.
During the interview with Eran, the bodyguard condemned Hamas and asked people to stand with Israel. The guard said, “While one side is protecting babies, kids, and the elderly, the other side is using those as human shields!!! It’ll be an insult to animals worldwide to call them ‘animals’ but those are not human beings.”
The bodyguard urged people to be on the right side of history, asking people to imagine a similar scenario in their neighborhood. He said that Hamas has killed and slaughtered families in bed with their pets and burned down houses. He asked, “Try to imagine that happening in your own neighborhood, to your next door neighbours or to a family you know.”
