1. Ozzy Osbourne
Ozzy Osbourne is one of those celebrities who are suffering from Parkinson’s disease. The celebrity shared about his disease with Robin Roberts. Osbourne was with his wife Sharon in February 2019 confirming that he had the disease after a few health problems.
2. Alan Alda
In July 2018, Alan Alda revealed his Parkinson’s disease during an appearance on the CBS ‘This Morning TV‘ news show. He shared that exercise helps him to stay positive and he does a lot of specific exercises. Alan does boxing, juggling, tennis, swimming, marching, and biking to stay positive.
3. Neil Diamond
Well-known artist Neil Diamond officially announced on January 22, 2018, that he would retire from touring because of Parkinson’s diagnosis. He also shared on his official website that it was with great reluctance and disappointment that he announced his retirement from concert touring. He was honored to bring his shows to the public for the last 50 years.
4. Linda Ronstadt
The lead singer of the 1960s band Stone Poneys, Linda Ronstadt was also diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. In 2013, Ronstadt shared about Parkinson’s disease while giving an interview to AARP The Magazine. She also said that her health never fully recovered but she didn’t visit a neurologist until the disease affected her singing career.
5. Michael J. Fox
‘Back to the Future‘ star Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s when he was 30 years old. He later established the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.

6. Brian Grant
Brian Grant was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2009. He disclosed it while speaking to ESPN and it happened after he retired from professional basketball.
7. Muhammad Ali
Muhammad Ali retired from boxing in 1981. However, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease three years later and he later founded the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center for movement disorders.
8. Janet Reno
Janet Reno contracted Parkinson’s disease in 1995 after being nominated to the cabinet position. Speaking at a press conference, she said that she found that she had the disease after her hands were shaking and she immediately went for a check-up.
9. Bob Hoskins
Bob Hoskins had to retire from acting in 2012 due to his diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. Following his retirement, he stated that he will focus on a healthy lifestyle.
10. Freddie Roach
Frederick “Freddie” Roach started showing Parkinson’s symptoms around 20 years ago. His story was also featured in HBO shows like ‘Real Sports‘ where details on how he has been battling with the disease were revealed.
