VMAs 2024: See Full List Of MTV Video Music Awards Winners

To celebrate the extraordinary music talent Hollywood possesses, MTV handed out Moon personal trophies to various music artists last night at the 2024 MTV VMAs. While the awards season is not around the corner yet, all the big names of the industry gathered to celebrate music, right from Taylor Swift to new artists like Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter.

The event was rightfully gracious to new artists as well as the old ones. Not surprisingly, Taylor Swift led the pack, while others followed. Here are the major highlights from the event and the full list of artists who took away the awards.

The 2024 VMAs Music Award show took place last night at Long Island’s UBS Arena. Taylor Swift led the nominees with a total of 12 nods and won 7 of them, including the Best Music Video for ‘Fortnight’ with Post Malone, as well as the Best Artist of the Year, Best Pop, Best Editing, and more — also becoming the first artist to win a total of five awards.

Moreover, Taylor Swift also broke the record Beyoncé’s record with the most VMA wins ever. Chappell Roan took the award for Best New Artist Of The Show, while Katy Perry took the Video Vanguard Award.

VMAs Award Night Was Graced With Several Dazzling Performances

The 40th MTV award night was also a chock-hold of various performances. Iconic VMA moments shined through. Host Megan Thee Stallion took the show to the next level by with a live snake wrapped around her body as a homage to Britney Spears’ 2001 ‘I’m a Slave 4 U’ performance.

Miley Cyrus was also seen twerking onstage with Robin Thicke in 2013 and Madonna’s 1984 ‘Like A Virgin‘ performance. Moreover, other iconic performances also featured Sabrina Carpenter kissing an alien during a mashup of her latest single, while Roan also performed in front of a burning castle.

Moreover, the outfit game was also strong during the award night. From Camila Cabello to Paris Hilton, everybody was dressed up in interesting designer outfits. Addison Rae’s outfit was not very demure of her but she still stood out in the crowd. Roan carried a sword which asserted her dominance on the red carpet.
