Watch: Will Smith Performs His Iconic Song ‘Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air’ After Decades At Boxing Event

Before coming to the acting industry, Will Smith started his career as a rapper named ‘The Fresh Prince‘. He gained a lot of recognition and various awards including a Grammy as well. After his stagnated acting career, he came back and revived his music career.

The actor previously performed his debut single ‘You Can Make It’ at the BET Awards and now he performed his song from ‘Fresh Prince Of Bel- Air’ in front of 8500 people at an influencer boxing event.

After nearly three decades Will Smith performed his iconic song from ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ which made waves through the rebooted TV series and is now back again with a bang just like the career of Will Smith.

Smith raised the spirit of the gathering through his performance, captivating the crowd with it. When the audience recognized the familiar tune of the song, he was graced with loud applause from the gathering. The video for which can be seen below:

The ‘Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air’ debuted in 1990 and the show ran for six seasons and concluded in 1996. Will Smith plays the role of a teenager moving from West Philadelphia to his wealthy relatives in Bel-Air, Los Angeles. The lyrics of the song share the actual plot of the story that how ‘One Little Fight’ led him to go across the country.

Fans appreciate the smiling side of Will Smith and the iconic performance was a delight to watch which reminisced a lot of memories for the audience. ‘The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air series had some great actors in it including James Avery who passed away in 2013 at the age of 68. Janet Hubert-Whitten was also part of the series including Alfonso Ribeiro, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, and more.

There was also a reunion special on Max in 2020 and the show hasn’t been revived for a spin-off. However, it was given a reboot called ‘Bel-Air‘ which was a dramatic representation of the same with basic surroundings.

Smith served as the executive producer of the same and helped Jabari Banks take over the role of Teenage Will Smith. The third season of ‘Bel- Air’ will be premiered in August 2024.
