The WWE star John Cena is looking back at his relationship with Dwayne Johnson now that both are part of the ‘Fast and Furious‘ franchise. The two had a long-standing feud between them since their WWE days. But now it seems that Cena is looking back at his mistakes.
Recently, the ‘Fast X’ star said that he messed up in the past and might have lost his and Dwayne’s friendship forever. But what exactly happened between them?

John Cena Looks Back At His Mistake Of Insulting Dwayne Johnson
The recent ‘Fast X’ movie is shedding light on a lot of controversies that surround the cast. Dwayne Johnson has had a lot of controversies surrounding him and Vin Diesel as well as John Cena. And now John Cena speaks out about his and Johnson’s feud.
“I got selfish and me leaving WWE at that point and not having any concept of growth or someone else’s perspective — I took Dwayne’s comments [about the business] as not genuine”, said Cena.
However, Cena admits that he was a hypocrite when it comes to Dwayne Johnson. Cena also said, “My view was, if you love something, be there everyday. What a hypocrite I am, because I still love WWE and I can’t go all the time. And I just didn’t see that, I was so selfish.”

What Was The Feud Between Cena And Johnson?
John Cena and Dwayne Johnson have been good friends throughout their lives except for when Cena had an interview with The Sun. In the interview, while talking about Johnson, Cena said, “He, at one point, loved wrestling and wanted to do this all of his life. Explain to me why he can’t come back for a 15th Anniversary show or why he can’t make an appearance at Wrestlemania.”
Cena went on to say that this was simply because Johnson wanted to be an actor more. He also said that it pissed him that Dwayne Johnson talks about himself as a wrestling lover when he is doing something else entirely.
After these comments, Dwayne Johnson made his return to WWE in 2011 and even defeated John Cena in 2012 in the WWE Championship. His remarks created a rift between Johnson and himself.
