Gymnast Simone Biles, who made headlines during the last Olympics for her struggles with mental health, specifically grabbed attention from certain celebrities. Lady Gaga, who was one of the many star performers at the grand opening ceremony, was particularly appreciative of Biles as she she gave the gymnast a shout out on her Instagram. Lady Gaga Hypes Up Simone Biles During The Olympics
The opening ceremony of Paris Olympics 2024 was a star-studded affair with many celebrities including Tom Cruise, Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga among others gracing the event to support the athletes.
Among the many athletes, Simone Biles grabbed attention because of her return to the field after a long break. And Lady Gaga, being the “girls girl“, showed her immense support for Biles by both cheering on her from the crowd and hyping up Simone’s performance on her social media.
Posting a video of Simone’s performance on her Instagram, Gaga wrote in the caption, “She nailed it. What an honor to be so close. Unimaginable strength and talent will never forget today, I’m so grateful to be so close and witness these incredible women”.

Hollywood Is Cheering For Simone Biles
Other than Lady Gaga, many other celebrities showed up at the opening ceremony of Paris Olympics 2024. Simone Biles’s husband Jonathan Owens, who is an American Football player, is also rumored to be planning a visit to Paris to support his wife though it is not confirmed yet.
Other than Lady Gaga, singers like Ariana Grande, Dolly Parton, Beyoncé, and Megan Thee Stallion also showed their support for Biles on their respective social media accounts.

Furthermore, Simone also received special support from the Swifties all around the globe as she performed her routine on Taylor Swift’s popular track ‘Are You Ready For It’, which was met with a huge applause from the supporters in the audience.
Swift herself appreciated Biles previously on her social media for her trial routine back in June. The singer wrote on X (Twitter), “Watched this so many times and still unready. She’s ready for it tho,” along with Biles’ video.
