‘Revolver’ is the 7th studio album by the English rock band The Beatles released on August 5, 1966. The producer was George Martin and the genre of the album was rock, pop, and psychedelic rock. Following the release of rubber soul, the band embarked on what was to be their final U.K. concert tour.
At the time The Beatles was experimenting with hallucinogens like LSD, and their altered state of mind influenced the way they wrote and composed songs. The members wanted every track to have a completely different and unique sound. Many music critics recognize it as their best album. Now, their ‘REVOLVER’ Deluxe edition is to be released on October 28, 2022.

Giles Martin Details Beatles’ ‘Revolver’ Deluxe Edition
Producer Giles Martin, son of the band’s producer George Martin, shared a new mix of The Beatles’ most wildly experimental album. Martin said, “Revolver is an album where you could listen to each song and go, ‘Oh, this is the direction they’re going to go in next.’ And be wrong every single time. The Beatles are all in the same zone, coming of age. But it’s four individual members, with four eclectic styles, all willing to surf the same wave. And that’s what this album’s about. It’s about that ‘What have you got? How crazy is it? Well, I can out-crazy you.’”He added, “At the end of last year when I was finishing ‘Get Back,’ I went, ‘Oh, God, I better listen to these outtakes and start going through them to see whether we’ve got enough to do this. Because we always want to make sure that we’re not scraping the bottom of the barrel, and you want to make sure that there are enough outtakes for a ‘Revolver’ boxed set. If not, do we think about doing ‘Revolver’ and ‘Rubber Soul’ altogether and just have outtakes from both?”
