On Thursday, Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum finally posted a picture of them and their baby on Instagram. This was preceded by Hilton’s podcast episode on Wednesday. On her ‘This Is Paris’ podcast episode, Paris finally revealed the baby boy’s name.
Hilton and Reum’s baby has the name Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. It is a very unique name and also bears a very sweet meaning behind it. Fans like the name choice and the meaning behind it. The baby has both the last names Hilton as well as Reum.
Paris Hilton revealed that she has been thinking of baby names for several years and that she already knew what she was going to name her kids. She wanted her kids to have names based on a city, country, or state just like her. Paris has also finalized the name of a future daughter and wants her to be called London. Hence she landed on the name Phoenix which is inspired by a city in Arizona.
She also liked the meaning of Phoenix which symbolizes hope, rebirth, and renaissance. She said, “More important, it’s the bird that flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again. I want my son to grow up knowing that disaster and triumph go around and come around throughout our lives and that this should give us great hope for the future.”
The baby boy’s second name is a tribute to Hilton’s grandfather with whom she was very close as a kid. She said about her grandfather, “He was always my mentor, and I looked up to my grandfather so much, and we were so close, and I miss him every day, so I really wanted to honor him by having his name in my first son’s name.”

Paris Hilton’s Experience As A Mother
Talking about her baby boy, Paris Hilton revealed that she hadn’t told about the baby’s birth even to her family. She even hid his name so that it couldn’t be leaked. Paris said on the podcast, “For now we’ve just been keeping everything really private, not even my mom or my sister or my best friends – no one knew literally until he was over a week old, so it was really nice just to have that with Carter be our own journey together because I just feel that my life has been so public, and I’ve never really had anything just be mine.”
She also revealed how and why she wanted to keep everything private. Paris explained how she felt her entire life was public right from her teens and just wanted to have this new experience private and exclusively with her husband. She disclosed how Carter and she had a pact not to reveal their son’s birth and name to anyone, even the family so that they could keep him a secret.
Sources close to Paris Hilton have also reported how both Hilton and Reum are enjoying parenthood and how their life is ‘picture-perfect’ after the baby’s arrival. The source also revealed how the couple is “so over the moon and they’re so over the moon to finally have started their family.” So the couple is currently focusing on their baby and their family.
