Leading a dual life is not easy, who knows who is better than the Superheros? From geek to savior of the world, they live life regularly along with their loved ones being dragged into the crossroads. Peter Parker, Clark Kent, and Bruce Wayne have led a dual life, keeping their superhero personality a secret.
While Peter Parker and Bruce Wayne used their accustomed mask in order to disguise themselves, Clark Kent’s disguise is simply a pair of glasses. Although this disguise is considered to be silly and ridiculous, Henry Cavill who reprised the role of Superman, proved that Clark Kent’s disguise was not stupid.
Henry Cavill Proved That Clark Kent’s Disguise Actually Works
Henry Cavill embodied the role of Superman for a very long time, leading to his massive fan base, however, with the change in the DC management and James Gunn taking over the production house, fired Cavill merely because he wouldn’t be an appropriate choice for the rebooted DC.
While many wondered how silly and ineffective Clark Kent’s disguise it, Henry Cavill proved it to be untrue. An old video of Cavill resurfaced as he was seen standing BvS billboard in Times Square in a Superman t-shirt where no one recognised him. Cavill tested this on the basis of the study, explained below.

Science Reveals How Impactful And Smart Clark Kent’s Disguise Is
On and again Superman has become a laughing stock upon the ways he hides his identity. According to a new study put together by researchers at the University of York, it could actually work! 59 study participants were shown side-by-side images and were then asked to determine whether each depicted the same person. In the first two categories, the participants were correct 80 percent of the time – but that success rate dropped to 74 percent when it came to the third category.
Kay Ritchie, a co-author of the study, explained, “A six percent drop in performance may not sound like much, but if you consider the number of people who go through passport control at Atlanta International airport every year – over 100 million last year – a six percent drop in accuracy equates to 6 million misidentifications. We hope this work can be used to inform future policies on face identification, particularly given the discrepancy between different forms of photo ID when it comes to wearing glasses.”
Just to put this theory to the test, Henry Cavill once appeared in one of the most crowded spots on our planet, wearing a Superman shirt, and no one recognized him. This only proves that people need a little bit of understanding of science just to claim something accurate that is beyond their comprehension.
