Kobe Bryant Praised Taylor Swift During A Podcast
Taylor Swift has a close association with the Bryant family. It was evident when Kobe Bryant raised a banner for the artist during her ‘1989’ tour at the Staples Center. The unfurling of the banner marked the 16th sold-out show of Swift at the Los Angeles venue. But Kobe once fondly talked about Taylor Swift while talking about people who do great things.
Taylor Swift became the inspiration for Kobe Bryant after his retirement. During ‘The Jordan Harbinger Show’ podcast, Kobe said, “I think it’s important to listen to people who do great things. It’s not just genre-specific. But it’s like, Taylor has been at the top of the game for a very very long time – how and why?”
He continued, “How does she write? How does she get into that space where she can create things over and over and over? I mean, it’s a lot of pressure for her to follow up a no.1 album with a better album.”

Kobe Bryant admitted that it is frightening to have been able to pull off what Taylor Swift is doing. During the podcast, he added, “I don’t care if you like her music or you don’t like her music. Look at what she’s doing. It’s frightening; it’s unbelievable to be able to pull that off. You can’t have that level of success and not be a killer. It’s impossible.”
Recently, Vanessa Bryant took her daughters Natalia, Capri, and Bianka to the SoFi Stadium show of the artist’s ‘Eras Tour.’ While performing her hit track ’22,’ she removed the hat and placed it on Kobe’s daughter, Bianka’s head, and hugged her. Vanessa wore a jacket with a picture of the moment when her late husband honored Taylor at the Staples Center in 2015.
